Method of Application

• The surface to be tiled should be sound and thoroughly cleaned. Surface should be free from wax, grease, polish etc.
• Add 3 to 3.5 parts of powder to 1 part of water.
• Mix with a trowel or slow speed drills (50 – 100 rpm) until a lump free homogeneous paste is obtained.
• Always mix the required quantity, which can be consumed within 60 min. pot life.
• Leave mixture for 5-10 min. and remix before use. Mix only sufficient quantity of adhesive for immediate need.
• Spread the adhesive to a thickness of approx. 3-6 mm and comb with a notched trowel. Strictly apply the adhesive paste which can be tiled within 10 to 15 mins.
• The most important standard to keep in mind is to insure that the piece of tile is completely bedded in the mortar or adhesive with 100% coverage and to eliminate the possibility of any air voids.
• Excess mortar on adhesive shall be cleaned from the surface of the stone with wet cloth or sponge while the mortar is fresh.
• If a plaster/levelling mortar bed is applied, ensure that it is cured for at least 7 days to achieve proper strength before application of tile adhesive for installation of tile
• Dampen the wall before application of thin set adhesive
• Keep joints between two-tiles using spacers.
• Use suitable support along with adhesive for fixing tiles on vertical surfaces.
• Clean off surplus adhesive from the tile face and between joints.
• Clean tools and tile work with water while adhesive is fresh.
• Start filling joints only after 24 hrs. With  Bendito Epoxy Kit or Bendito TG Mix

Precautions & Limitations

• For laying tiles on floor, surface should be sufficiently hard & good condition.
• Always add powder to water & never add water to powder.
• Do not add excess water than recommended.
• Never add sand & cement at site.
• Strictly not recommended for tiling on gypsum plaster, paint,Plywood & wood derivatives, metal,decorative laminates, highly deformable surfaces subject to vibrations
• Adhesives for ceramic tile, bricks and stone are not designed as replacements for waterproof coating.
• Leave no voids behind tiles
• Protect from direct rainfall/ foot traffic for at least 24 hours.
• In heavy tile application or external floor area use with Bendito Stone Faijar
• Do not use for fixing artificial/ nano/ engineered stone/ composites/ metal tile.
